On October 14, 2026, at the invitation of the Department of Transport Services of the Ministry of Transport, Professor Yang Min, Vice President of our institute, delivered a special lecture titled "Key Technologies and Application Scenarios of AI + Integrated Transport Services" for the 2026 National Seminar for Directors of Transport Service Departments.

Professor Yang Min, drawing on her research practice and industry cases, presented the applications of artificial intelligence in comprehensive passenger transport, bus operations, multimodal transport, safety supervision, and new-quality transport service scenarios.Drawing on the key technology demonstrations of the National Key Research and Development Program project she leads, Professor Yang explained multimodal fusion perception, cross-entity transport capacity optimization, and large-model interaction technologies in response to bottleneck problems such as passenger flow fluctuations, transport capacity coordination, and complex spatial wayfinding in large-scale comprehensive passenger hubs. She also analyzed the application of intelligent agents for transfer guidance in the complex spaces of large hubs. Relying on the innovation team in key areas of the Ministry of Transport she heads — "Smart Travel Service Technologies for Multimodal Transportation in Urban Agglomerations" — she introduced the key technology system for multimodal intermodal travel services and travel regulation intelligent agents, and demonstrated collaborative applications with public travel service platforms of team member organizations such as Amap, Ctrip, and Bus Steward. Through typical cases including Nanjing's smart bus operations, Qingdao Port's rail-water intermodal transport dispatching, drivers' emergency safety capability enhancement, as well as low-altitude logistics and unmanned delivery, she explored the application pathways of artificial intelligence in transport organization, safety supervision, and new-quality scenarios.Focusing on the construction of intelligent comprehensive multidimensional transportation systems, Professor Yang Min recommended adhering to scenario-driven demand, promoting the coordinated integration of intelligent transport infrastructure, intelligent transport equipment, and transport services. She advocated promoting classified application demonstrations of artificial intelligence through "small entry points" to enhance the quality and efficiency of comprehensive transport services.
