On 30 January 2026, Elsevier officially released the 2025 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. Drawing on multiple metrics to evaluate scholarly impact, the ranking provides a comprehensive analysis of Chinese researchers' scientific output. A total of 92 Southeast University scholars appear on the list, nine of whom are from our college.

Elsevier's "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list is more than a benchmark for identifying leading scholars and gauging institutional academic influence. By integrating data on China's research-talent distribution with disciplinary strengths, the ranking precisely maps the core competitiveness of universities and institutes in key technology fields, offers evidence-based support for discipline building and talent strategies, and spotlights future research directions and methodological innovation for high-quality studies.
